Peer Review Process

The Journal of Educational Socio Techno and Innovation (JETI) implements a double-blind peer review system to ensure the quality and objectivity of scientific publications. Here is a detailed explanation of our review process:

1. Basic Principles:

  • Double-blind: The identities of authors and reviewers are kept confidential.
  • Objectivity: Evaluations are based solely on academic merit.
  • Transparency: Authors have the right to know the reasons behind editorial decisions

2. Review Process Stages:

Stage 1: Initial Screening (1–2 weeks)

  • Checking alignment with JETI’s focus and scope
  • Similarity check (maximum 20%)
  • Evaluation of administrative completeness and writing format

Stage 2: Expert Review (4-6 weeks)

  • The editor will send the manuscript to 2-3 expert reviewers
  • Reviewers are selected based on relevant specific expertise
  • A standard review form is used for comprehensive evaluation
  • Reviewer Evaluation Criteria:
    ✓ Originality and scientific contribution
    ✓ Research methodology
    ✓ Data analysis and interpretation
✓ Relevance to current scientific developments
✓ Writing quality and manuscript organization

Stage 3: Editorial Decision:

  • Accepted without revision (processed directly for publication)
  • Accepted with minor revisions (author requested to make minor revisions)
  • Accepted with major revisions (author must make substantial revisions)
  • Rejected (with an explanation of the reasons for rejection)

Stage 4: Revision Process:

  • Authors are given 2–4 weeks for revisions
  • Revisions will be reviewed by the editor and original reviewers
  • The final decision will be announced after revisions are completed

3. Special Policies:

  • Reviewers must disclose any conflicts of interest
  • Reviewers are prohibited from using information from the manuscript under review
  • An appeal process may be initiated if the author disagrees with the decision

4. Processing Time:

  • Average time from submission to first decision: 6-8 weeks
  • Publication time after manuscript acceptance: 2–4 weeks

5. Transparency:

  • Authors can monitor the status of their manuscripts through the online system
  • Review reports will be sent to authors without disclosing the reviewers' identities

JETI is committed to maintaining the integrity of the review process and providing constructive feedback for the development of authors' scientific work.
